''Abelmoschus caillei'', the West African okra, is a plant species in the family Malvaceae. It occurs in West and Central Africa, where it is used as a vegetable.〔Grubben, G.J.H. & Denton, O.A. PROTA Foundation, Wageningen; Backhuys, Leiden; CTA, Wageningen.〕 It originated as an allopolyploid hybrid of ''Abelmoschus esculentus'' and ''A. manihot''.
